Women’s Month Virtual Tasting
Guest hosts Eleanor Leger and Rachel Fitz invite you to a tasting of four ciders with a lively talk that will go beyond the apples. The cider industry is growing and March is a great time to reflect on what is working and what needs to change. Eleanor, as President of the American Cider Association, and Rachel, as a member of the ACA Anti-Racism Committee, look forward to a great time drinking cider while tackling subjects that deserve our attention.
Eleanor founded Eden Cider in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom, where she and the Eden team continue to make world class cider. Always revered for their bottled ciders and ice ciders, Eden has recently released cans with a brand new look but the same revered liquid. Deep Cut and Peak Bloom are included in the tasting package and available year-round!
Rachel Fitz co-founded ANXO Cider in 2014 and is, among many things, the Director of Human Resources for all of ANXO’s endeavors. Rachel has shaped ANXO’s outlook on community and staff relationships and is excited to share with you two ciders that she helped inspire with community in mind. District Kosher, a Kosher-for-Passover wine made from apples, and Nevertheless, the featured cider of ANXO’s Women’s Month, are both included in this tasting!
The tasting will last for one hour and a Zoom link will be shared with patrons that purchase any of the various packages we have available.
