Credit the expanded taste buds of consumers and the ingenuity of small-batch brewers. There’s a veritable orchard of hard cider options out there, though some of them can taste sickly sweet. We taste-tested the latest and (sometimes) greatest hard ciders on the market and made a few important discoveries.

7 – ANXO Transcontinental

The District is home to one of the best under-the-radar cideries in the country. You’ll cherish citrus notes and a nicely tannic finish coming from Pacific Northwest cider apples fermented by Snowdrift. While it’s not the most crushable cider on the market, it’s still surprisingly smooth and refreshing nonetheless.
